Our Refer-a-Friend programme is currently in beta, with a select group of companies offering The Electric Car Scheme as an employee benefit invited to participate. When the incentive is fully launched, only employees of companies partnered with The Electric Car Scheme will be eligible to refer or be referred.
Unfortunately, if your employer is not yet partnered with us, you won’t be able to take part in the programme.
You’ll receive a gift voucher once your referred colleague’s electric car is successfully delivered through The Electric Car Scheme. There’s no cash alternative, and the reward can’t be exchanged or transferred.
Your reward will be issued after the referee’s car has been delivered. Please note that rewards are not sent out when someone signs up - only once their vehicle has been successfully delivered.
No - there’s no cap on the number of eligible colleagues you can refer. As long as each referee qualifies and gets a car delivered, you’ll receive a reward for each one. However, rewards are issued only for the first vehicle ordered by each referred individual.
The current programme runs until midnight on 14th September 2025. Referrals made after this date won’t be eligible for rewards.
No. The programme is only for referring colleagues from the same partnered employer. Referrals from or to individuals outside your organisation won’t qualify.
Any attempt to misuse the Refer-a-Friend programme — including submitting false or duplicate referrals — may result in disqualification from the scheme and forfeiture of any associated rewards.
Yes, The Electric Car Scheme reserves the right to amend or withdraw the programme at any time without notice.
No. All rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and hold no cash value.
