By introducing this scheme, we help our employees reduce their carbon footprint by switching from petrol or diesel to electric cars. Additionally, it takes advantage of government tax incentives, making it a cost-effective benefit that encourages participation.

Initially, I was concerned that setting up a scheme like this would be complicated and costly for the company. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how simple the process was. The reporting provided by The Electric Car Scheme is extremely helpful, making my job easier month by month. They offer automated monthly payroll, HMRC, and climate reporting, which aids in compliance, HR, and finance. A major advantage is that there is no net cost to the business.
