O'Neill, founded by Jack O'Neill in 1952 in San Francisco, revolutionised the surfing world with the invention of the neoprene wetsuit. Initially a small surf shop in Santa Cruz, they introduced a variety of innovative products, including the wetsuit, surf leash, split-toe surf bootie, and rash guard. O'Neill's continuous innovation led to the invention of technologies such as the Zen Zip entry system and Technobutter neoprene.
