Ordering a used EV through The Electric Car Scheme was an effortless experience. It was made better by individuals in the EV Specialist and Operations teams who helped me every step of the way.

Radek Machyan used The Electric Car Scheme to lease a used Tesla Model 3, he said the process was effortless. Here’s how it went:

“A month ago, I was eyeballing Teslas, I knew the specific model I wanted but it wasn't available. Rebecca, an EV Specialist at The Electric Car Scheme was very helpful - communicating with me from start to finish and answering all my questions. She made a note of the model I wanted and the next day it showed up on the used car section of the website, so I grabbed it.

Documents were signed and I was contacted by Hibo in the Operations team who took over for the delivery process and was very helpful in explaining the next steps and answering questions my subsequent questions.

The car arrived 3 weeks later in the middle of the estimated delivery timeframe (just enough time to study the car manual and YouTube videos explaining how to drive these things - I recommend doing that before getting a Tesla in particular). Delivery was fine, I did not find any issues apart from minor wear & tear marks that you would expect in a used car. Hibo checked on me after the delivery to make sure everything went well.

One thing that was not immediately clear was about using the Tesla app to access all features, I had to be added as the main driver first, and I found out that the lease company has to do this as they are the registered owner. This was done on the same day after I contacted Rebecca and Hibo who sorted this with them for me.

To give constructive criticism, I will suggest providing more information about used vehicles and their condition before placing the order. The customer has to rely only on pictures which do not show great detail and there is no description of the car's condition such as battery life or if all systems function well and the car's service history. Overall, everything worked out well for me, thank you Rebecca and Hibo.”
