Save 30-60% on the MG4 Hatchback

The MG4 is one of the cheapest electric cars but its performance and specification match that of its more expensive competitors. Its distinctive design, long range and advanced features gives drivers a safe and smooth experience performing above its price tag.

MG was originally founded in England in the 1920’s but, despite its headquarters still being in England, is now owned by Shanghai-based Chinese Automaker SAIC motor. In the last year, MG have spread their new dynamic electric car models across Europe and are also the fastest growing mainstream car brand across the UK and the MG4 shows why this is.

The MG4 allows you to add some personalisation to your car with a choice of six colours, including a bold volcanic orange and a clean black pearl exterior. Furthermore, the model contains an advanced active grille system which regulates airflow into the front compartment to help drivers achieve optimal battery range. The car also has a two-tone black roof and sharp headlights to give it an agile and fresh look.

Inside the car, the driver and passengers are given plenty of headroom and legroom and the design is clean and clear, making it a pleasant environment to get comfortable in when you take it for a spin. The technology inside does not upset either, with a wireless charging phone holder and a 10.25” touchscreen that comes with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. If you thought it could not get any better for the price you’re paying, there is also the MG iSMART app which allows you to control many functions of the car such as, charging, checking vehicle status and the climate control system.

The car is also very safe due to the intelligent MG Pilot driver assistance system which contains many functions such as: Active emergency braking with pedestrian and bicycle detection, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and many more features which help ensure a protected journey when using the MG4.

The MG4 is also a very efficient car which can charge from 10-80% in under 35 minutes - and most models have a range of up to a whopping 360 miles making driving long distances easier than it has ever been. The car is also fit to drive in many different environments ranging from rural roads to motorways.

This car gets you everything you paid for and more with its fresh, slick design and clever technology systems giving you a straightforward and enjoyable driving experience. Even though the car is already very well priced if you were to source it yourself, with The Electric Car Scheme you can save well over £100 when salary sacrificing this car.

Salary sacrifice the Jeep Avenger

The Avenger is Jeep’s first fully electric car and it’s a very impressive one as well due to its bold, dynamic and adventurous design - it also boasts a number of technological advances that help the driver have a safe journey and make the car a bit different from the classic Jeep we’re all used to.

Jeep was founded in 1941 and originally had the sole purpose of building vehicles that were specifically designed for the military, until they changed their style in the 1940’s to an off road- cruiser. Jeep’s were the first mass-produced four door cars and began the age of SUVs. Throughout history, they have had a distinct, strong design made for the outdoors and despite moving pretty slowly, in January 2023 they finally released their first fully electric vehicle, the Avenger. Despite the Avenger having a more city-like look than the traditional Jeep and being compared to the likes of the Hyundai Kona and Kia Niro EV, its bold, muscular structure and seven slot front grille still contain the iconic Jeep DNA.

The most compact Jeep yet is shielded by a 360 degree body protection and its stern LED headlights and black roof make it a highly recognisable SUV. You can also personalise the Jeep and make it feel like home by adding accessories to your car such as different graphics on its exterior and the option of 18” alloy wheels. There is a choice between three versions: The Summit (the latest generation version), the Longitude (futuristic style) and the Altitude (style and comfort). Each of the three versions brings something different to the table whilst still carrying the identity of the car.

The modern and technologically advanced interior gives the driver lots of storage space and a comfortable, relaxing experience due to the seat adjustment system and spaciousness of the area. The yellow and black bar through the whole front and multicoloured lights give the car a cheery, ambient atmosphere while its light steering wheel and soft brakes make the driving experience the smoothest that Jeep has ever had. The car also has Apple Carplay on its 10.25” digital panel and you are able to recharge your phone through the wireless charging grid.

Despite not having four-wheel drive, this new electric Jeep is still ready for rocky terrain despite it being more of an inner-city car. Its Selec-Terrain and Hill Descent Control technology allow you to adapt to and drive in any weather or conditions. As well as this, with its combined advanced driver assist devices, the SUV is able to keep centre on the lane and stay a good distance from other cars.

The Avenger can charge at a rapid rate of 100kWh meaning it can charge from 20-80% in 24 minutes and can even give you 24 miles if you charge it for 5 minutes which is the average distance somebody drives in a day. Furthermore, on one battery the car has a range of just under 250 miles which is more than enough for this car. The car can also go from 0-60mph in 9.6 seconds which is extremely fast for a Jeep.

With The Electric Car Scheme , you can salary sacrifice this car meaning you lease it for £390/month when anywhere else it would cost £611/month.

A cheaper way to lease the luxurious Genesis GV60

The Genesis GV60 is a smooth, luxurious and state-of-the art EV which gives drivers a quiet and peaceful experience in a beautiful zero carbon emissions car.

Genesis was founded by the well-known Korean car company Hyundai in 2003 as a prospect of a more prestigious model and the first model was sold in 2007 in South Korea. The Genesis electric cars did not come to the United Kingdom and Europe until 2021, and when they did come to Europe, their GV70 and GV80 models were the first to be released and they did not do as well as Genesis would have thought. However, when the GV60 came along, it changed people’s views on Genesis and was the product that they should have first introduced to the European market.

One thing that makes the GV60 such a great car is its stylish appearance outside and in. Genesis have developed the idea of the ‘beauty of white space’ which they used when making the GV60. This seeks to create a comfortable, spacious and relaxing atmosphere for the driver which it certainly does with its abundance of headroom and legroom, clean colour coordination and floating architecture.

The car is also one of the first to use a facial recognition system to unlock. Furthermore,  on either side of the front two seats there are screens that show what’s behind your car as well as a central screen which has Apple Carplay. One of the most unique and compelling features of this car is the Crystal Sphere in the middle. It’s not only used for design and mood lighting when the car is off but it’s used for mobility when the car is on and Genesis’ main goal of this element is to create an emotional connection between the driver and the car.

The car’s two line light designs and stern crest give it a slick and luxurious look, one that would normally be associated with a Porsche or a Ferrari. Movement when driving the car is soft and gives you a great experience even when travelling at very high speeds. The car also has a unique and special drift mode which allows drivers to park easier and once again add to enjoyment of the journey even in rough environments.

The GV60 also has impressive capacity and with a 350kWh charger, it can charge from 10-80% in only 18 minutes. The car can also accelerate from 0-60 mph in as little as 3.6 seconds making it one of the fastest cars on the market.

Surprisingly, with all of these incredible features, through The Electric Car Scheme you can save nearly £300/month when leasing this car, through salary sacrifice it starts from just£518/month - which is astonishingly low for a premium car. The aim of the Genesis GV60 is to have a car that the driver can build a connection with and this car certainly does that.

New and existing car manufacturers are adapting and changing their car line-ups all the time due to new technology being discovered. Also, now that the government has said that all cars on the road should be fully-electric by 2035, there is a higher demand for these cars than ever.

With The Electric Car Scheme you can simplify the electric car experience - it’s easy to add everything you need into one bundle. You can get the full tax savings on maintenance, breakdown cover, comprehensive car insurance, and a home charge point - keeping your net zero journey hassle-free.
